Nietta's climate is cool temperate. Averaging 60-80 inches per year of rain and temperatures ranging from -3 frosts in winter to 35 in summer. Because Nietta is 550m (1,800+ feet) above sea level generally 3-4 good falls of snow (that usually last a day) occur every winter.

Approximately a 30 min drive inland from Ulverstone at 250 Loongana Road, Nietta which is nestled in the foothills of Black Bluff and enjoys lovely views of Mt Roland above.
The easiest way to find us from the coast is to follow all the signs to the 'Leven Canyon' as we a 7km before the Canyon.
Through Ulverstone - Gawler - Sprent - Upper Castra is the fastest and still very scenic. Enjoy the drive through farm land, tree farms and natural bush.
