In front of the house was the first part of the garden Kay and Robert planted in 1978. These are now mature trees, including a rare Monkey Puzzle tree.
In recent years a large area has been planted with peonies and hellebores and colchicums .A large bed of cyclamens and galanthus
have been planted in memory of a great gardening friend that passed away in 2006,and whose ashes were scattered under a large chestnut tree.
